Orest Bhavan-History

History

Orest Bhavan (Orest Vidyanikethan) is situated in the Diocese of Vijayapuram, at Kanjikuzhy in Kottayam District in Kerala. It is the second community of our Congregation in India, blessed on 15th July 1979 by Bishop Cornelius Elanjikal. It is named after late Fr. Orest Pagnini, who contributed his patrimony for the construction of this house. This house has served as the centre for the vocation animation. At present it is the Provincial house of our Congregation in India, a formation house for the pre-novices. It is also a study house for the brothers studying both philosophy and theology.
