History

Education is not an end, but a means to an end, i.e. we do not educate the students only for the purpose of educating them. Our purpose is to fit them for life. Education is the most dominant dimension affecting the quality of human beings in terms of knowledge and skill. Education serves both individual and social ends. Education is one of the activities of the C.F.I.C. The congregation seeks through the education to prepare the youth in the spiritual and secular pedagogy. St. Mary’s College is an educational institution which is a realization of the congregation’s aim for assisting the youth in their integral growth. The college was established in the year 1996. Considering the present needs and the pulse of the students, a computer center and also a library are added. It helps the students to reach the stage of full development and also there are many associations actively working for the integral growth of the students as well as the institution. It is sure that this centre where people of different age and religion interact with mutual collaboration, would evolve into a real centre of human formation and culture.
